Our good news didn't come to you only in words. It came with power. It came with the Holy Spirit's help. He gave us complete faith in what we were preaching. You know how we lived among you for your good. (1Thess 1:5)

We’ve been here at Joy City a little over a year of arrival. I noticed there are more pictures of our family in the outdoor recently. Yesterday, I took Darlene with me to a village. She was able to greet people in Hindi, sign language while singing, and help passing gifts to other children. I took lots of picture of her. I am very proud of her. I wouldn’t be able to comprehend how much she had suffered from dermatitis. Now her condition is improving.

Today’s passage reminds me that the good news we’re sharing didn’t come merely with words. Darlene is a living testimony with the healing power of our Lord and the help of the Holy Spirit. This is another confirmation from the Lord that He will look after us when we respond to His call.
