I’ve been sick past five days. Today I felt better. No more shivering. No more fever. This morning I was very hungry.

Darlene finished her breakfast already. Angeline was still eating hers. I took a used bowl left on the table and poured some cereal into the bowl.

After a while, Angeline looked puzzled and asked: “Dad, why did you use kid’s bowl? Grandma bought it for us. You’re all grown up and you’re using kid’s bowl?”

I laughed. Didn’t know how to give her an answer.

After a busy morning, I came home and sat on a couch comfortable. The aroma of delicious Chinese beef soup was coming out of the kitchen.

Carolin: Kent, time for lunch. Take out the chairs!
Kent: Oh!

Kent: Kids, take out the chairs! It’s time for lunch!
Darlene: No！
Kent: What did you say?
Darlen: Mom asked you to take them!

Darlen: Dad, you’re so lazy!
